Position Summary

The incumbent in this position is responsible for ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly so they are available for prompt seating of guests.

General Accountabilities

• Clean and reset tables in accordance with established procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor and ensure cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats, and floors.
• Perform customer service duties as assigned (such as beverage and plate service).
• Communicate with host/hostess for seating needs and any guest service issues.
• Perform various stock supply duties to maintain par levels of all equipment and dining supplies.
• Other duties as required.

Working Conditions

Must have the ability to:

• Work in environments subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on customer volume.
• Communicate and understand directions in English.
• Inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.
• Effectively and efficiently move around the dining room area.
• Carry trays, retrieve supplies, lift racks of dishes and glasses weighing up to 50 pounds, and move carts weighing up to 50 pounds.

The skills and abilities necessary for this position are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training or related experience.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities

• Must be able to obtain all required certifications and licenses, including a gaming license through the Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Attend required training sessions offered by the Spokane Tribe Casino.
• Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Ensure minors are not allowed to gamble, loiter in gambling areas, drink alcohol, or purchase tobacco.
• Have knowledge of relevant ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures.
• Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
• Report illegal activity to Security or management.
