Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Cincinnati is seeking a buffet attendant to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the buffet area and dining room, restock supplies, and ensure side stations are stocked during service.

You will complete opening and closing duties, monitor cleanliness, manage tray retrieval with guest safety in mind, and follow management requests. Must have good communication and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays; English required.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of related experience preferred.
• Able to work a varied work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing side duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
• Stock ice and paper supplies
• Monitor cleanliness of guest floor corridors and clears floor of all table and trays
• Retrieve tables/ trays from guest floor corridors always taking guest safety into account
• Breakdown all dirty trays & carts (organized by trash, china, glass and silverware)
• Maintain par stocks of food (condiments etc.), china, glassware and silverware in the BOH on daily basis
• Restock refrigerators & freezers in work area daily
• Complete weekly clean schedule of IRD equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift. Practicing clean as you go
• Notify management of any maintenance repair issues
• Complete any additional reasonable requests by management
• Check with supervisor before leaving at end of shift

Job Description

Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the buffet area, including all tables. Restocks the dining area and side stations with tableware, flatware, utensils, condiments and linen. Always maintain adequate supplies in the side station when the venue is open.

Additional Details

Work Environment: Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional kitchen setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
