Overview

The Busser is responsible for clearing and sanitizing tables, transporting dishes and other items to the kitchen and assisting waitstaff with other assigned tasks. Responsibilities

The Busser's typical job functions include:

  • Ensuring waitstaff can focus on the guests and make sure that food comes out in a timely fashion
  • Clearing and sanitizing tables for the next group of guests
  • Disposing of trash and other waste
  • Keeping the restaurant stocked with adequate supplies, such as plates, glasses, silverware, and napkins
  • Assisting cooks, servers, dishwashers, and bartenders with various tasks as needed

Qualifications
