Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 hourly

Dr. Wilkinson’s Backyard Resort and Mineral Springs is an iconic resort and spa destination located in the heart of the charming town of Calistoga. The transformed resort honors its iconic past while looking toward the future with a new mid-century inspired design, 50 completely refreshed guestrooms, a brand-new restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and a completely re-imagined spa.

Your Role & Impact
  • Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Set up station in the kitchen.
  • Extend a courteous, friendly, and professional greeting to guests.
  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
  • Act as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
  • Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities (e.g. food allergies).
  • Assist the wait staff in the service of food in accordance with the established standards.
  • Assist in table set up and cleaning, maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant.
  • Serve welcome drinks and hors d’oeuvres upon guests’ arrival.
  • Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
  • Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed.
  • Remove dirty dishes and utensils.
  • Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
  • Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests.
  • Maintain the orderly upkeep of coolers and storage areas.
  • Report all guest comments and complaints to the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware and serving equipment.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
  • Perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
