The Washington Crossing Inn in Washington is seeking a team-oriented Busser. No prior experience is required and on-site training is provided. The candidate should be willing to work weekends and/or holidays if needed.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, clearing and resetting tables, delivering food with the server when required, and maintaining a clean dining area. Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.

• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course.
• Clear tables after guests.
• Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
• Promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths between seating.
• Check floor and clean as required.
• Respond to guest requests and communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating and service.
• Assist server with food delivery, especially with large parties and peak periods.
• Thank guests as they are leaving and be available to fill in as needed per manager direction.

• Respond appropriately to guest’s requests.
• Communicate guest’s requests as needed.
• Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
• Thank guests as they are leaving,
• Be available to fill in as need to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the diner as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor.
