Job Description

To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional busser/food runner services.

Responsibilities

1. Must have complete knowledge of service times and menu.
2. Must have complete knowledge of floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers.
3. Responsible for verifying complete orders on tickets and delivering food on the cold and hot lines.
4. Deliver food to correct tables according to tickets, floor plan, and seat numbers.
5. Always inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform the server or manager.
6. Responsible for set-up of expo line with items specified in side work.
7. Consult with supervisor on any food delivery difficulties.
8. Minimize breakage.
9. Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.
10. Set up and breakdown of breakfast buffet according to schedule.
11. Maintain and replenish breakfast buffet items, ensuring they are full, clean, and presentable at all times.
12. Secure all breakfast vehicles such as platters, butter dishes, and bread knives as directed by manager or posted in side work.
13. Place and receive warehouse orders daily, ensuring proper par levels of products.
14. Ensure all products are within date and use the FIFO method of storage.
15. Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions outside the hotel.
16. Exposure to food and beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals and food items.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months Food and Beverage experience.
• Experience in selling and presenting wine.
• Ability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must be Food Handler and TABC certified.
• Able to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for extended periods in indoor/outdoor environments.
