Summary

The Busser assists the Server in delivering high-quality service while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, creating a memorable experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, adhering to Cosm policies and procedures.
• Prepare the assigned section for service.
• Follow Cosm’s Pillar of Service for guest interactions.
• Assist team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Engage positively with guests, coworkers, and managers.
• Ensure guest needs are met from entry to departure.
• Be knowledgeable about Cosm’s products, services, and promotions.
• Follow supervisor directions and support side work and cleaning tasks.
• Comply with liquor laws and company policies regarding alcohol service.
• Attend scheduled training sessions.
• Support all policies outlined in the employee handbook and training manuals.
• Minimize china/glass breakage.
• Stock coolers with appropriate products.
• Work various shifts, including late hours, holidays, and weekends.
• Maintain friendliness and professionalism at all times.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Practice good time management and communication skills.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds regularly.

Experience

• Ability to bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Occasional kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Seldom climbing, pushing, or pulling over 50 pounds.
• Previous bussing or food delivery experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, with basic writing skills.
• Food handler’s card and responsible alcohol service certification.
• Legal age to serve alcohol per local laws.
