We are seeking to build a pool of candidates for future Busser (Guest Services Representative) positions to join our team at USC Hospitality. Our team serves thousands of students, faculty, staff, and visitors across various dining venues, providing nourishing, made-to-order meals in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and guests, including greeting and assisting guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, equipment, and service areas.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas, buffets, coffee stations, and displays.
• Stock supplies, food items, and utensils.
• Provide basic food and beverage service, including assembly and packaging.
• Interpret and execute banquet event orders.
• Support basic audio-visual needs and open/close facilities as required.
• Follow sanitation procedures and adhere to safety and university policies.
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma not required.
• 0-6 months of customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong commitment to USC's Unifying Values.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in high-volume food service or hospitality.
