Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in DeLand, FL is hiring a full-time Busser to support table service and station upkeep across all meal periods.

Responsibilities include clearing tables, stocking stations, serving beverages and breads, and assisting servers. Prior food service experience is required; pay is $15.00–$16.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule.

• Clear dirty table settings quickly and prepare tables for resetting.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment.
• Serve guests beverages, breads and butter and replenish as necessary; assist servers with food and beverage service.
• Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor.
• Fold napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
• Perform all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, greeting and seating guests.

• Location: 421 North Woodland Boulevard, DeLand, FL 32723.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–3:30 pm and 5:00 pm–11:00 pm.
• Requirement: Prior food service experience.
• Pay Range: $15.00–$16.00 per hour.

Summary

Sets and clears restaurant tables; stocks all service stations; assists food servers with table service.
