Job description

Pacifica Hotels is searching for a Busser to join the Marina del Rey Hotel team. The Busser will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down equipment and materials for SALT Restaurant & Bar.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times, providing personalized service to restaurant and hotel guests.
2. Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
3. Clear dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables after guests leave. Wipe down and reset tables for the next guests.
4. Scrape dishes, separate silverware, stack dishes, and transport them to the kitchen/dishwashing area.
5. Clean the dining area: wash tables and chairs, dust, vacuum, or mop at the end of the day.
6. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant and kitchen to company standards and health codes.
7. Adhere to food safety requirements.
8. Report missing or found articles, equipment, or property damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
9. Assist other team members and departments to contribute to overall performance.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
