Job summary

Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar in Jacksonville is seeking a friendly Busser to support servers and bartenders, maintain clean tables, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. You will follow uniform guidelines and maintain grooming standards while working as part of a cohesive front-of-house team.

This hourly position participates in benefits programs and offers pathways for growth, with medical insurance eligibility after meeting hours and 401(k) access after one year of service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read English.
• Stand for long periods.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler’s Certification and TABC Certification; follow sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with guests and coworkers in a positive, friendly, and hospitable manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work and follow uniform guidelines.
• Assemble/disassemble workstations promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of station during shift; stock and replenish as needed.
• Observe all state and federal laws regarding service of food and alcohol.
• Deliver food orders accurately; buss and manicure tables throughout the restaurant.
• Communicate questions or issues to the management team; follow safety guidelines.
