Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious individuals to join Pegasus Pizza, our newest concept. A busser plays a vital role in maintaining high standards for our guests by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional food running and bussing services.

Responsibilities

1. Have complete knowledge of service times and menu.
2. Understand the floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers.
3. Verify that orders on tickets match the food prepared on cold and hot lines.
4. Deliver food accurately to tables according to tickets, floor plan, and seat numbers.
5. Check with guests if additional service is needed upon delivery and inform servers or managers accordingly.
6. Set up the expo line with items specified in side work.
7. Consult with supervisors regarding any food delivery issues.
8. Minimize breakage of items.
9. Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
10. Set up and break down the breakfast buffet as scheduled.
11. Maintain and replenish buffet items, ensuring they are full, clean, and presentable at all times.
12. Secure breakfast items such as platters, butter dishes, and bread knives as directed.
13. Manage daily warehouse orders to ensure proper par levels.
14. Ensure all products are within their expiration dates and use FIFO storage methods.
15. Work outdoors with exposure to weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
16. Handle food and beverage cleaning chemicals safely.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 1 year of food runner or DRA experience.
2. Experience in selling and presenting wine.
3. Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
4. Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
5. Must be Food Handler and TABC certified.
6. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods, in indoor and outdoor environments.
