Job Description

We’re seeking enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious individuals to join our newest concept, Pegasus Pizza. A busser plays a vital role in maintaining high standards for our guests by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional food running and busser services.

Responsibilities

• Have complete knowledge of service times and menu.
• Know the floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers.
• Verify complete orders on tickets and ensure correct food delivery on cold and hot lines.
• Deliver food to correct tables according to tickets, floor plan, and seat numbers.
• Inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform servers or managers.
• Assist with setup of expo line with items specified in side work.
• Consult with supervisor on any food delivery issues.
• Minimize breakage.
• Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
• Set up and breakdown of breakfast buffet as scheduled.
• Maintain and replenish breakfast buffet items, ensuring they are full, clean, and presentable.
• Secure all breakfast items such as platters, butter dishes, and bread knives as directed.
• Manage warehouse orders daily, ensuring proper par levels and FIFO storage.
• Handle exposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions outside the hotel, and cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year food runner or DRA experience.
• Experience in selling and presenting wine.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must be Food Handler and TABC certified.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods in indoor and outdoor environments.
