Desert Mountain Club, a premier private club in the North Scottsdale area, seeks a Busser / Food Runner to support the Food & Beverage team. The role emphasizes guest interactions, efficient table service, and running food to enhance member experiences.

The employer offers a flat-dollar wage structure for hourly positions, with starting pay at $19.50 per hour or more depending on experience, plus merit-based annual increases and a structured career ladder. Prior country club experience is a plus.

• Prior restaurant and/or country club experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reset tables and ensure tables and chairs are clean and properly set.
• Remove dirty dishes from dining room and carry to dishwashing area.
• Stock side stations with silverware, china, glass, ice and items as needed.
• Check tables during service hours and provide water refills and clear dishes.
• Pour coffee and replenish rolls and butter.
• Remain on dining room floor to be available and visible.
• Assist in function set-up and tear-down.
• Assist with food delivery when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Join the Food & Beverage team at one of the largest private country clubs in North America, Desert Mountain Club, as a Busser / Food Runner!

Desert Mountain Club offers a higher, flat-dollar wage structure for all hourly Food & Beverage positions, replacing the previous gratuity-based wage structure. Bussers start at $19.50 per hour or more depending on experience. This guaranteed year-round wage is based on hours worked and does not fluctuate based on business levels or seasonality. Team members also have the opportunity to advance in pay and position based on merit and performance through annual merit increases and the career ladder (various levels in each position based on performance, skills, knowledge, etc.)

In this role, you will play a key role in executing an exceptional experience for the restaurant's guests and members! You will be responsible for assisting the restaurant servers by providing positive guest interactions in a friendly and efficient manner, clear and clean tables, appropriately stocking all areas of the restaurant, and running food.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. A passion for delivering an excellent guest experience is required. Prior restaurant and/or country club experience is a plus.

• Reset tables and ensure tables and chairs are free of food particles and water spots. Set tables with clean linens, china, silverware and glassware with attention to proper positioning of each.
• Remove dirty dishes from dining room and carry them to the dishwashing area.
• Stock side stations with silverware, china, glass, ice and any other items that may be needed.
• Check on tables during service hours and provide water refills and clearing of dishes. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to server as needed.
• Pour coffee, replenish rolls and butter.
• Remain on dining room floor to be available and visible as much as possible.
• Assist in function set-up and tear-down.
• Assist with food delivery, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to stand for long periods of time.
