Job summary

Harwood Hospitality Group in Dallas is seeking a Busser to support dining room service, clear tables, reset settings, and assist servers. The role emphasizes teamwork, attentive guest care, and adherence to HHG standards in a fast-paced setting.

You will help with water service and communicate with the kitchen to expedite orders while maintaining cleanliness and a positive guest experience. This is a full-time, on-site position in the Harwood District.

Qualifications

Summary

As a Busser you are responsible for overseeing table maintenance, maintaining the flow of service, and assisting servers in the dining room. Standard duties include clearing food and utensils from tables, resetting, water service, monitoring guest satisfaction and assisting the kitchen in expediting the service process.

Job Functions

Operations

• Set and reset table settings according to specifications in HHG Training Manual and presentation standards.
• Ensuring all utensils clean and neatly set.
• Properly cleaning and clearing tables after guests have completed their meal.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to expedite the service process.
• Assisting servers with water refills and or provide other support to enhance the guest experience.

Ensure that public restrooms are clean and functional.

Physical Demand

Sanitation and Equipment’s

• Ensure that staff maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and HHG requirements.
• Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and restaurant requirements.
• Instruct staff in the correct usage and care of all machinery in the kitchen operation, stressing safety.
• Adhere to all sanitation and safety policies.

Meetings & Communication

• Be available for any Restaurant mandatory meeting or training.
• Ensures a smooth communication with all direct reports and other Restaurants Managers/supervisors.

• Is always neatly dressed and groomed, and always behaves and speaks according to HHG standards of excellence.
• Treats all associates - in public and in private - with respect and consideration, regardless of their position or tasks.

Required Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred
