Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Busser & Dishwasher at Bear Mountain to support food service operations. You will clear and clean tables, wash dishes, assist kitchen staff, and maintain a clean, organized work area in a fast-paced environment.

Starting at $19.50 per hour, this part-time role requires weekend and holiday availability. The position offers opportunities to learn, grow, and be part of a collaborative team focused on guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 60+ pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Experience in fast-paced food prep environments.
• Strong cleaning and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and responds to guest questions and needs in a timely manner.
• Collects dishes from venues and delivers back to the dishwashing pit to be cleaned and sanitized.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses conveyor to dishwashing machine; ensures cleanliness.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; maintains sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels per standards; keeps dish area orderly and safe.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors; cleans surfaces and prep areas.
• Removes trash and manages waste per procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

This is not an exhaustive list. The items below are primary duties. All other duties assigned by leadership are expected to be completed as requested.

• Greets, directs and responds to guest questions and needs in a timely manner
• Collects dishes from venues and delivers back to the dishwashing pit to be cleaned and sanitized per procedures
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
