Job summary

Levy Restaurants in Moonridge, CA is hiring a busser/dishwasher. You will maintain a clean, safe dining area, wash dishes, buss tables, and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced venue.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, addressing questions promptly.
• Collect dishes from venues and return to the dishwashing area.
• Wash and sanitize dishes by hand or in machine per procedures.
• Wash pots, pans and trays; ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain safety procedures and proper chemical levels.
• Keep dish area orderly and sanitary.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Wash prep surfaces and other surfaces.
• Remove trash and dispose of waste.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for an efficient, hardworking busser/dishwasher who possesses excellent time management skills. The busser/dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and keeping the dining area and kitchen tidy.

Responsibilities

This is not an exhaustive list. The items below are primary duties. All other duties assigned by leadership are expected to be completed as requested.

• Greets, directs and responds to guest questions and needs in a timely manner
• Collects dishes from venues and delivers back to the dishwashing pit to be cleaned and sanitized per procedures
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
