The Role

The primary responsibility of a Busser is to reset tables quickly and professionally as guests leave the restaurant while also ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant and its perimeters. Additionally, Bussers will refill and clear tables, and may also be expected to clean dishes, kitchen equipment, and maintain orderly work areas as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
2. Clear tables after guests leave. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc., in appropriate areas for washing.
3. Wash all china, glass, and silverware.
4. Clean all equipment, pots, and pans.
5. Store all equipment in proper locations.
6. Sweep and mop all floors in the kitchen.
7. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
8. Attend mandatory meetings.
9. Perform all assigned side work.
10. Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
11. Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.

Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, complete company-wide safety training, and any additional job-specific safety training.
