Job summary

BB's Tex-Orleans is seeking a friendly Busser to help maintain a clean, efficient dining room. You will clear and reset tables, assist servers, and ensure stock levels for dishware and glassware are maintained. A food handler certification is required or obtainable, and restaurant experience is preferred.

Hourly pay ranges from $9 to $17 with tip share; full-time and part-time positions are available. Flexible AM/PM shifts and a team-focused environment are offered.

Job description

Bussers are responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, and ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy. Bussers are vital to our success!

Responsibilities for Busser:

• Clear tables of dish ware and napkins after meals, and return them to the kitchen
• Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by sweeping and mopping
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dish ware
• Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after meals
• Assist servers with food delivery
• Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked

Requirements and skills for successful Busser

• Restaurant experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
