Job summary

BB's Tex-Orleans in Houston, TX is seeking a Busser to ensure a clean, pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables and keeping the dining room tidy. You will stock and maintain glassware and dishware and assist servers to ensure smooth service.

The ideal candidate is a team player with strong customer service, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and capable of obtaining a food handler certification.

Bussers are responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, and ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy. Bussers are vital to our success!

Responsibilities for Busser:

• Clear tables of dish ware and napkins after meals, and return them to the kitchen
• Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by sweeping and mopping
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dish ware
• Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after meals
• Assist servers with food delivery
• Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked

Requirements and skills for successful Busser

• Restaurant experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
