Starting Rate: $13.50 an hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Facilitate food service; provide clearing and cleaning of tables and surrounding area efficiently.
2. Responsible for assisting servers when required and re-stocking of all service areas.
3. Ensure proper set up in all areas of restaurant.
4. Replenish food and beverage supplies to the appropriate area when needed.
5. Clear dishes from tables and other areas to ensure a high standard of table maintenance.
6. Prepare tables for meals, including the complete set-up of linens, silverware and glassware.
7. Provide food and beverage service to assist servers when required.
8. Prepare dishes for washing by scraping and stacking them according to the proper standards.
9. Provide cleaning duties when needed for spilled food and drink.
10. Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning linens, silverware, glassware, dishes and trays.
11. Prepare coffee and tea as needed.
12. Greet guests in a professional manner.
13. Clean and refill condiments in a timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
14. Wash server equipment in the restaurant.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Must have excellent guest service skills.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:

Obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license. Obtain/maintain Food Handlers license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to maneuver in the casino, visual acuity to observe and react to handle customer questions and complaints. Must be able to stand and/or walk for 7 1/2 hours per day. Have good dexterity in fingers. Be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to stretch, bend, kneel, twist and reach. Must be able to taste, feel, smell, see and be able to read, write and speak basic English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second-hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
