Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A COLLEAGUE

As a valuable part of the Food and Beverage team, you will make sure that our guests are seated at their table with polished silver, sparkling glassware and crisp linens. You are part of making sure all supplies, dishes and linens get to the kitchen for our stewards to wash and get ready for your next guest. You will keep the salad bar and the beverage bar looking perfect all day. Your teamwork with the servers makes the dining experience memorable for our guests.

Table Maintenance: Clears dirty table settings, prepares tables for resetting and resets all service ware promptly and consistently as prescribed; Transports all dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning; Assists Servers in clearing dishes and replacing silverware between each course. Pours water for guests.
Service Station Maintenance: Maintains stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment, including silverware, linen and condiments; Sets up and maintains salad bar(s); Sets up and maintains various beverage bars throughout the property, and room service to guests; Sets up and maintains “mocktail” beverage bar (where applicable).
General Cleaning: Performs general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards. Performs duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills or special guest requests, to ensure total guest satisfaction.
Sidework: Ensures that all bussers’ side work is completed as detailed on the work chart.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Schedule: Must have flexible availability: weekdays, weekends, and holidays - morning and evening shifts. We are a full service resort that welcomes guests 365 days of the year, working weekends and holidays is what we do.

Shifts: Availability for Fridays & Saturdays 6am-3pm, Sundays 11am-close and some weekday evening hours.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced food environment. Must have meticulous attention to detail.

Physical demands: Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs repeatedly and comfortability with a lot of walking.

Mindset: Positive mental attitude. You will also need to be flexible and guest service oriented. We expect you to have a mature outgoing attitude, sense of urgency, proactive demeanor, and that you will possess pride in Canyon Ranch standards of excellent food service.
