Job summary

Dave & Buster's Management Corporation, Inc. in Rochester, NY is looking for a dedicated team member to assist Bartenders and Servers while maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent Guest service. Responsibilities include delivering an exceptional Guest experience by keeping the area clean and supporting team members during busy shifts.

Ideal candidates will have restaurant/bar experience, clear communication skills, and be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for long periods. This position requires a friendly demeanor, as well as the ability to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.

Job Overview

Assists Bartenders and Servers by maintaining area cleanliness and providing necessary support to ensure fast, friendly and accommodating service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all‑out fun.
• Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
• Creates a warm, fun atmosphere for Guests and Team Members.
• Adheres to company’s sanitation procedures.
• Responsible for bus stand cleanliness and stocking.
• Ensures wait stations remain clean.
• Empties trash and spot sweeps whenever the floor needs it, or when a Manager requests.
• Performs opening/closing responsibilities, including party breakdown and duties.
• Restocks and prepares supplies for shift change and or close.
• Busses and resets tables.
• Offers assistance to Guests by clearing away dishes and glassware, and refilling beverages.
• Assists in party setup.
• Maintains cleanliness of restrooms, including restocking of supplies.
• Cleans high chairs and booster chairs.
• Assists other Team members as needed or when business needs dictate.
• Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team members.
• Physical demands: work days, nights and/or weekends as required; work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions; read and write handwritten notes; lift and carry up to 30 pounds; move about the facility and stand for long periods of time; walk or stand 100% of shift; reach, bend and stoop frequently.

Salary Range: 10.7 – 16
