Job summary

The ONE GROUP in Boston is seeking a Busser to help maintain a clean, organized dining area and support the front-of-house team. You will anticipate guest needs, assist servers, and contribute to the energetic atmosphere that defines the brand.

This role involves greeting guests, clearing tables between courses, and ensuring high standards of sanitation. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

• Coordinate with hosts and servers to optimize seating and turnover.
• Respond to guest requests and relay special needs to servers.
• Handle tableware and transport to the dishwashing area.

What You’ll Do

As a Busser, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized dining area while assisting servers and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. Your mission is to anticipate guest needs, support the front-of-house team, and contribute to the high-energy atmosphere that defines THE ONE GROUP.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests and provide water service upon seating
• Clear and reset tables between courses and after guests depart
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including floors, chairs, and booths
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages, especially during peak times and with large parties
• Monitor assigned restroom areas, ensuring cleanliness and restocking as needed
• Communicate with hosts and servers to maintain efficient seating and table turnover
• Respond promptly to guest requests and notify servers of any special needs
• Handle tableware and dishware with care, transporting items to the dishwashing area
• Assist with the overall restaurant setup, cleaning, and side work as needed
• Follow all health and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment
