MGM Resorts International is seeking a Busperson for Public House at Luxor in Las Vegas. You will support the dining team, ensuring swift table turns, fully stocked stations, and a spotless dining area to deliver a premier hospitality experience.

The ideal candidate will work varied shifts including weekends/holidays, be 21+, and bring 1+ year of relevant restaurant experience. Earn a starting rate of $14.9611 per hour plus tips, with benefits and growth opportunities available.

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, etc., and fold napkins properly
• Clear, clean, sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables and reset with linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and tabletop items
• Remove dirty dishes and linens to the kitchen and dispose of trash in designated receptacles
• Coordinate table availability and communicate with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure quick table turns
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks and refill as needed
• Keep dining room floors clean and debris-free

As a Busperson for Public House at Luxor, you will play an essential role in fueling the lively, spirited atmosphere of our energetic, stadium-style pub located within the iconic pyramid. Going beyond simply maintaining the pristine cleanliness of our dining areas, storerooms, and beverage stations, you will serve as the crucial backbone of our fast-paced service team. By working in seamless harmony with food servers and runners to ensure swift table turnarounds, fully stocked stations, and flawlessly organized food pickup areas, you will empower the entire staff to deliver an uninterrupted, spectacular dining and game-day experience that perfectly captures the premier hospitality of our dynamic resort.

THE STARTING RATE:

$14.9611 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 1+ Years of prior relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner in a Fast Paced or High-Volume restaurant preferred
