Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Familiarize yourself with restaurant service standards, including table setups, beverage service, and pre-bussing procedures
  • Clean and reset tables thoroughly before moving to the next, ensuring all surfaces, chairs, and booths are properly wiped and sanitized
  • Clear used dishes, clean ashtrays, and reset tables with appropriate settings
  • Stock service stations with necessary items such as glassware, cups, and silverware
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including floors, carpets, and service areas
  • Handle all glassware, silverware, and china in a sanitary manner, ensuring proper hygiene practices
  • Assist servers when possible, without neglecting primary responsibilities
  • Do not handle guest checks or money from tables
  • Supply side stations with bulk items and remove trash as needed
  • Remove condiments and reusable items from bus carts and break down side stations at the end of service
  • Clean and maintain beverage equipment including coffee urns, milk dispensers, juice machines, iced tea machines, and soda dispensers
  • Ensure all service stations are clean and fully stocked before the end of each shift
  • Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and team members
