Job summary

White Lodging is hiring a Busperson to support our hospitality team in Austin. You will keep tables clean, assist servers, and help with beverage delivery while providing excellent guest service.

You will learn to operate the Host Stand, know menu items, and participate in opening/closing duties. A positive attitude and strong communication help you thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tables are clean and properly set, assist Food Runner when needed.
• Maintain excellent communication with servers and assist with table maintenance, clearing, and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality while remaining professional.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand and know menu items, contents, and garnishes.
• Perform opening/closing duties and process all payment methods.
• Maintain neat, professional appearance and represent the establishment well.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• A Busperson will ensure that all tables are clean and properly set while also assisting the Food Runner when necessary
• Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers. Assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times
• Learn to operate the Host Stand
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
• Process all payment methods
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned
