Job summary

Dean Dorton is seeking a Business Valuation Manager to join our Forensic and Valuation Services team in Raleigh, NC. You will perform valuation functions for clients across industries and contribute to model development and client reporting.

The role requires 2–6 years of experience, professional valuation credentials, and solid Excel skills. We offer flexible schedules, generous PTO, family leave, retirement benefits, and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of valuation experience.
• Valuation certifications such as ABV, CVA, or ASA are required.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical valuation functions for Dean Dorton clients across various industries.
• Prepare and/or review valuation models using multiple tools.
• Analyze industry, economic, and other trends to derive valuation results.
• Apply strategic, analytical, and conceptual knowledge to develop client solutions.
• Prepare and present valuation reports and findings to clients.
• Participate in business and team development activities to grow FVS services.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Valuation Manager to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform critical valuation functions for Dean Dorton clients within a variety of industries.
• Preparation and/or review of valuation models using a variety of tools.
• Analysis of the industry, economic, and other developing trends to derive valuation results.
• Use of strategic, analytical, and conceptual knowledge and theories to develop creative solutions for clients.
• Perform critical valuation functions for Dean Dorton clients within a variety of industries and use cases.
• Preparation and presentation of valuation reports, data, and findings to clients.
• Participation in business and team development activities to support the growth of Dean Dorton’s Business Valuation services.

What We Are Looking For:

• 2-6 years of Valuation Experience.
• One or more valuation certifications such as ABV, CVA, or ASA are required.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong business acumen.
