Job summary

Yeo & Yeo, a Michigan-based accounting and advisory firm, seeks a Business Valuation Intern to join our in-office team in Ann Arbor or Troy. The internship runs January to May 2027, 12–20 hours per week, with hands-on experience in financial analysis and valuation reporting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with a 3.0+ GPA, possess strong Excel skills, and can conduct research using public and proprietary sources.

Qualifications

• Understanding of GAAP and financial statements
• Familiarity with valuation methods (Income, Market, Asset‑Based)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis tools
• Ability to research and apply valuation multiples (EV/Revenue, EV/EBITDA)
• Experience with valuation resources/tools (e.g., BizMiner, DealStats)
• Basic knowledge of IRS valuation guidelines and AICPA SSVS No. 1
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; attention to detail is critical
• Ability to conduct industry/economic research using public and proprietary sources
• Excellent written and verbal communication for valuation reports
• Professional demeanor and confidentiality awareness

Timeline of the job?

The Business Valuation Intern is a seasonal position that will begin in January 2027 and end in May 2027. This will be an in‑office Internship role in Ann Arbor, MI or Troy, MI, working 12‑20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
