RKL LLP’s Intern position supports the Consulting team in financial analysis, data analysis and modeling for clients’ challenging management needs. The Intern is paired with a Consultant and will participate in engagements across focus areas and industries.

The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, leadership development, and collaboration with leadership to identify efficiencies. Ideal candidates are pursuing Accounting degrees with CPA aspirations and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Desire to pursue the CPA designation and a career in professional services/public accounting.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills required.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial analysis and market data research and provide client recommendations.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to the Financial Management Services team.
  • Network with peers and team members at all levels.
  • Participate in team-building and community outreach activities.

Job description

The Intern supports the Consulting team in general operations, data analysis and modeling related to RKL’s clients’ more challenging financial management needs. The Intern is paired with a Consultant matching their skills and expertise, however will be participating in consulting engagements of various focus areas and industries.

Essential Functions
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as an adding machine, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external team members/vendors as needed
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel to other office locations as needed, overnight travel may be required
