Position Summary

The Business Unit Services Manager oversees select shared services operations of Wenger Global Procurement. Responsibilities include implementing governance models for proactive engagement, establishing efficient global processes, and fostering a performance-based culture focused on continuous service improvement and cost reduction. This role involves collaboration with multiple teams to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and strategic development.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership and operational direction to shared services functions, aligning team priorities with business goals.
  2. Develop strategies and metrics to support operational performance and cost efficiency.
  3. Oversee service delivery to meet or exceed SLAs, ensuring productivity and customer satisfaction.
  4. Collaborate to define and standardize business processes.
  5. Establish and monitor KPIs, identify improvement areas, and implement enhancement strategies.
  6. Communicate expectations clearly and prioritize business outcomes.
  7. Manage service budgets, controls, and audits for accountability.
  8. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  9. Work with leadership to streamline processes through technology and workflow improvements.
  10. Implement leadership directives aligning with organizational goals.
  11. Attract and support top talent, fostering professional growth.
  12. Develop methodologies for transitioning work to service centers and explore service expansion opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in shared services or similar, with 3+ years in leadership.
  3. Experience in Agribusiness is a plus.
  4. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Experience with process improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma.
  6. Proactive, collaborative, and values-driven leadership style.
