Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership in Bristol, NH is seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead all daily manufacturing operations within the unit, achieving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives. You will develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and production staff while building leadership capability across the organization.

Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR) to resolve issues and drive Lean initiatives, workplace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience considered.
• 7+ years manufacturing leadership experience in a production environment.
• Experience leading supervisors, team leads, Group Leaders, or front-line teams.
• Proven success in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving methodologies, and manufacturing performance metrics.
• Experience with employee development, coaching, performance management, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations activities including performance management, attendance management, payroll approvals, and vacation scheduling.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve business performance.
• Ensure a safe, engaged, and high-performing work environment that promotes accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.


• Seven or more years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility in a production environment.


• Experience leading supervisors, team leads, Group Leaders, or front-line manufacturing teams.


• Proven success managing safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving methodologies, and manufacturing performance metrics.


• Experience with employee development, coaching, performance management, and employee relations activities.


• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
