The role emphasizes financial accounting, product costing, manufacturing and supply chain, with accountability for budgeting, working capital, process improvements, and cross-functional business partnering to drive margins.

CPA, CMA or MBA preferred; 8+ years of leadership experience in a best-practices

Qualifications

• CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in a best-practices manufacturer.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of financial accounting, product costing, manufacturing, supply chain, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting: Manage general accounting, monthly reporting, consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, KPIs, and SOX compliance.
• Budgets: Lead development of multi-site budgets; analyze variances; plan for infrastructure expansion and capital equipment.
• Working Capital: Improve DSOs, extend DPOs, and partner with supply chain to manage inventory.
• Process Improvements: Lead projects to automate processes and achieve cost savings.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and sales on costs, margins, KPIs, and capital expenditures.

Job description

Parent company is profitable, expanding, US based, and marketing engineered products globally. Growth has come from product and new business development, expanding customer base, reinvestment into infrastructure, international expansion, and acquisitions. Looking for a finance leader with strong business acumen and knowledge of financial accounting, product costing, manufacturing, supply chain, business development, and continuous improvement. VP is looking to groom this role to be their replacement.

Partner with VP Finance and lead an established finance team. Key areas of responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting: Manage all general accounting, flash forecasting, monthly reporting, consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, KPIs, and SOX compliance
• Budgets: Team with leadership on development of budget for multiple sites; analyze variances to budget and make recommendations; establish short & long range plans to support infrastructure expansion, capital equipment, and business development
• Working Capital: Identify opportunities to improve DSOs, extend DPOs, and partner with supply chain to best manage inventory
• Process Improvements: Contribute/Lead projects to automate and achieve cost savings
• Business Partnering: Team with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and sales on product costs, margins, KPIs, capital expenditures, and other performance criteria.

REQUIREMENTS

CPA, CMA or MBA wanted. Seek 8+ years of business experience that most recently includes financial leadership within a best practices manufacturer. Looking for a self-motivated and collaborative leader with upside potential.

REWARD

$180,000 to $200,000 DOE plus 15% bonus & 10% LTIP, excellent benefits
