Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Supervisor – Warehouse Operations to provide leadership for all warehouse activities, ensuring safe movement and storage of goods, and overseeing order filling and stock replenishment.

Candidates should have 2–4 years in a warehouse or distribution center, experience leading a team of 10 or more, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and working knowledge of safety rules. WMS experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred.

• Update reports and manage team performance indicators.
• Balance workloads by redirecting workflow to appropriate work centers.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain an efficient warehouse flow.
• Perform other duties as needed per business requirements.

Purpose:The Supervisor – Warehouse Operations, will provide leadership and supervision for all warehouse operational activities including the safe movement and storage of goods and oversee activities related to order filling and stock replenishment.Minimum Eligibility Requirements:Two to four years of relevant work experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred and experience leading a team of 10 or more direct reportsProven track record of delivering results, managing processes, and continuous improvementExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsWorking knowledge of warehouse safety rules strongly preferredMust possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressureStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office SuiteWarehouse Management System experience preferredAbility to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently, and/or within a team, across all levels and diverse cultures, and the ability to lead team projectsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsMust pass pre-employment background checkEssential Job Functions:Supervise a team of 20 or more employees and their workflow to ensure maximum service levels are maintained.Participate in reviews, performance management and recognition for employees.Coach, train, and mentor Distribution Center (DC) team members in the areas of productivity, quality, and safety.Update reports for warehouse use and manage teams’ performanceAbility to understand and help slot the DC based on company inventory and picking strategies.Handle and resolve conflict, process team member requests, engage team members proactively and lead team building activities.Update status of daily tasks, manage reports, team member assessments, issues or concerns, equipment status.Monitor activities performed and redirect workflow to appropriate work centers to balance workloadsOperate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methodsEnsure efficient warehouse flow and planning of daily task activitiesMaintain clean, safe, efficient work environmentOther duties may be assigned as appropriate and in accordance with business needsWorking Conditions (travel & environment)This position is hourly, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week. Working hours are subject to change due to business needs and working am and/or pm flexible shifts.Occasional travel required including air and car travelWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
