Job summary

Aspiriant is seeking a Business Technology Project Manager in Irvine, CA to drive end-to-end technology projects that support advisory, client service, and operations teams. The role partners with IT and business stakeholders to assess, implement, and deploy solutions, manage plans, budgets, risks, and adoption.

A PMP/Agile background and 5+ years in financial services are preferred. Strong communication, vendor management, and change management skills are essential to succeed in this

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in financial services
• PMP, Agile, or similar certification required
• Experience leading application implementations and technology deployments
• Experience with Salesforce.com, Tableau, and Black Diamond a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology powered business projects, including assessments, vendor evaluations and implementations
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and communications
• Coordinate internal resources and external vendors to ensure successful execution and adoption
• Partner with IT to assess existing applications and identify opportunities for optimization, consolidation or replacement
• Support deployment of advisory, client service, finance, and operational platforms and workflows
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
• Drive stakeholder engagement through clear communication, documentation, and status reporting
• Support user readiness, training coordination, and adoption planning
• Translate business requirements into clear project objectives and technical requirements
• Identify and manage organizational change impacts associated with new technology deployments
• Reinforce IT governance processes, including intake, prioritization, and post-implementation reviews

Business Technology Project Manager

Full Time Exempt Irvine, CA, US

Salary Range: $95,000.00 To $125,000.00 Annually

The Business Technology Project Manager partners with IT and business stakeholders to lead the assessment, implementation, and deployment of technology solutions and initiatives that support Aspiriant’s advisory, client service, and operational teams.

How you will contribute:

Knowledge:

Abilities:

• Working technical knowledge (e.g. API's, SaaS platforms, data flows), with ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.

Experience and Education:

We will consider any combination of experience and education which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. A typical way to acquire the requirements would be:

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in financial services, wealth management, or an RIA environment.
• PMP, Agile, or similar certification required
• Experience leading application implementations and technology deployments.
• Experience with Salesforce.com, Tableau, and Black Diamond a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Primarily sedentary work in an office with minimal distractions; walking throughout the office. Learn and memorize tasks; execute tasks independently; apply knowledge and use judgment to manage situations. Occasionally exert up to ten pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Perform repetitive motions; substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers for computer keyboard operation. Use near visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing documents, operating a computer, and reading. Speak and hear to communicate with team members and clients by phone and in-person.
