We consider all applicants, with priority given to SROA/Surplus candidates. This role involves compliance activities such as conducting licensing inspections, seizures, and ensuring businesses meet tax laws, including in areas like cigarette, tobacco, and cannabis products. The position may require travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
Business Taxes Compliance Specialist: Performs complex compliance and enforcement activities under supervision, including inspections, seizures, and court appearances.
Business Taxes Representative: Assists in compliance activities, inspections, seizures, and fraud identification under close supervision.
Applicants must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and (for investigators) the PC 832 Arrest, Search, and Seizure training before appointment.
