If you have business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills, and an active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to assist customers with their taxes using TurboTax Business products.

The successful candidate will manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations, with a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, and experience in preparing and filing business and personal tax returns.

What you'll bring

• At least 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for a minimum of 20 clients per season, using commercial tax software.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Preferably, 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per year.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week across three or more days.
• Bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry clients is preferred.
• Ability to obtain or possess relevant state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours/week, including 4-hour shift blocks during the tax season.
• Knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficiency with technology and software.
• Strong customer service skills and professional communication via video and audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, and determination.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable internet connection meeting security standards.
