If you are a highly motivated individual with business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills, and an active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax Business products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns, as well as significant experience in preparing and filing business and personal tax returns.

What you'll bring

• Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws as evidenced by 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax preparation software.
• Must possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per year, in a tax practice or retail setting, for compensation.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
• Bookkeeping experience relevant to tax preparation is strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry clients is strongly preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Commitment to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours/week (minimum 4-hour shifts) throughout the tax season.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficiency with technology, including strong computer skills and software knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally via video and audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, and determination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to meet internet security criteria set by Intuit.

• Assist customers in completing their taxes using TurboTax products, providing sound professional judgment and timely service. You will offer tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries to support our mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World".

• Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and proprietary business information responsibly and securely.

• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers, communicating in clear, everyday language.

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role, utilizing state-of-the-art video communication software to interact professionally and document interactions accurately.
