Role Description
You will help advance our goal of Powering Prosperity Around the World by providing expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers. If you are highly motivated with business tax preparation experience and excellent communication skills, we need you to assist our customers in completing their taxes using TurboTax Business products.

The successful candidate will manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and experience in preparing and filing business and personal tax returns are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax software.
• Provide personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 returns per year, preferred.
• Work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
• Possess or be willing to obtain relevant state licenses and PTIN.
• Maintain knowledge of Circular 230 and demonstrate proficiency with technology and software.
• Deliver excellent customer service through virtual interactions, ensuring professionalism and confidence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns.
• Experience with service industry business tax returns is preferred.
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must reside in the United States and have a secure internet connection.
