This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and supporting web-based and automation solutions using SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse), and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and building process-driven applications, workflows, and collaborative tools that enhance efficiency across business units.
The engineer will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and technical peers to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that align with ASU's operational and compliance standards.
The Knowledge Enterprise Research Technology Office (RTO) is located at the Centerpoint building in downtown Tempe, Arizona. RTO is a diverse enterprise with a wide variety of work and learning modes, locations, and a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and employee work-life balance.
Flexible work modalities require approval by the department director and are subject to KE review.
A minimum of two self-funded trips to Tempe, Arizona are required for in‑person collaboration: one during the Spring semester and one during the Fall semester.
The date of the first trip will be determined at the time of hire. The date of the subsequent trip will be determined during the first trip.
Each trip will last approximately 2-4 days, dependent upon the department's scheduled events and collaboration needs.
All travel expenses, including transportation, lodging, meals, and other travel-related expenses are expected to be incurred by the employee and will not be reimbursed.
While in Arizona, scheduled working hours will be 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Arizona time (MST).
