You will design and implement solutions supporting our financial operations and growth, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and sustainable systems aligned with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting principles, financial processes, and D365 FO, with a proven ability to design and implement complex solutions.

What You'll Do

Location: Work from home or nearby US R&D hubs (Scottsdale, Seattle, Atlanta, Boston) for in-person collaboration.

Reports to: Sr. Director, Business Systems ERP

1. Solution Architecture: Lead design and implementation of financial solutions within D365 FO, conduct fit/gap analyses, and develop specifications. Design integrations for revenue recognition, tax, consolidations, and reporting, aligning with business goals.
2. Business Process Optimization: Partner with finance to assess, refine, and automate processes like GL, AP, AR, Cash, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting, balancing automation with manual processes as needed.
3. Project Delivery: Manage finance projects from requirements to deployment, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
4. Collaboration: Work with solution architects, analysts, finance, developers, and other teams to design and deliver solutions.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Advise finance leadership, recommend system enhancements, and stay informed on ERP trends.
6. Audit & Reporting: Collaborate to ensure data accuracy, build reports, dashboards, and data processes for reliable insights.
7. Training & Mentorship: Provide training, documentation, and guidance to finance teams and analysts.
8. Leadership: Serve as the primary contact for D365 FO finance matters, update leadership, and lead activities related to M&A.
9. Continued Education: Stay current on D365 FO features, industry standards, and accounting regulations.

What You Bring

• D365 FO Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and implementing finance systems in D365 FO.
• Finance & Accounting Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and related modules, including GAAP, IFRS, and revenue recognition.
• Advanced Reporting: Experience with electronic reporting and Management Reporter.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects, familiar with Agile, Scrum, and tools like Azure DevOps, Jira.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and design streamlined solutions.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and leadership.
• System Integration Experience: Familiarity with integrating D365 FO with other systems.
• Certifications & Technical Skills: D365 certifications preferred; knowledge of Power Platform and Azure.
