Guardian Glass is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (Operational Technology) to join our global support team in Auburn Hills or Carleton, Michigan. You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, business, and IT/OT teams to translate plant and business needs into actionable requirements, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and advance manufacturing systems across Guardian facilities.

Responsabilités

• Identify operational priorities and translate them into clear business, operational, and technical requirements.
• Develop business cases, use cases, workflows, and actionable requirements for development, infrastructure, architecture, and vendor teams.
• Plan and coordinate IT/OT initiatives using project management and Agile practices, including priorities, backlogs, status reporting, testing, training, and change management adoption.
• Collaborate across operations, engineering, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and application teams to deliver solutions aligned with Guardian standards and support models.
• Take ownership of business and technical requests by clarifying needs, evaluating options, removing roadblocks, and driving issues to resolution.
• Identify opportunities using AI enabled productivity solutions to eliminate manual work, improve manufacturing data use, and standardize proven solutions across production sites.

Business Systems Analyst (Operational Technology)

Guardian Glass is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (Operational Technology) to join our growing global support team in Auburn Hills or Carleton, Michigan.

In this role, you will partner with manufacturing, engineering, business, and IT/OT teams to identify operational priorities and deliver scalable technology solutions. You will translate plant and business needs into actionable requirements, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, remove roadblocks, and advance manufacturing systems, process data, and continuous improvement across Guardian production facilities.

The Operational Technology organization focuses on maintaining and improving glass IT/OT manufacturing systems and support within the plant. We provide clear guided IT support to our plants globally as we continue to implement new technological solutions. With this vision and operational model in mind, we support our operations teams, business, and our plants to deliver and make the most of new technology.

What You Will Do

• Partner with plant, business, and technical stakeholders to identify operational priorities and translate them into clear business, operational, and technical requirements.
• Develop business cases, use cases, workflows, and actionable requirements for development, infrastructure, architecture, and vendor teams.
• Plan and coordinate IT/OT initiatives using project management and Agile practices, including priorities, backlogs, status reporting, testing, training, and change management adoption.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in business systems analysis, manufacturing systems, operational technology, industrial automation, or a related field.
• Experience supporting technology solutions in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, and managing business, operational, or technical requirements using Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders to implement or support integrated technology solutions.
• Experience evaluating IT or OT technologies and their integration with existing systems.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with manufacturing technology such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), historian platforms, manufacturing execution systems (MES), advanced process control, or industrial networking systems.
• Experience with data integration, time-series data, analytics, Power BI, or operational reporting solutions.
