Job Description:
This position acts as a skilled functional representative from a business process and system usage perspective. It involves working closely with management and collaborating on data and system solutions and enhancements. The role leverages knowledge of the market, applications, and customers to ensure proper business system test coverage and application training within Product Engineering. The incumbent understands and values the products' contributions and ensures system test coverage to mitigate quality concerns. Additionally, they develop processes and work with CSE partners to automate system tests and maintain relevant test cases from development teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Articulate application capabilities and define key business scenarios for the E2E System Test Suite, focusing on Vertex product processes.
- Evaluate and improve processes related to managing and processing client data.
- Provide first-level support for issues related to data management processes, tools, and applications.
- Represent business processes and system usage effectively.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to optimize tools, data integrity, and system efficiency.
- Develop test scenarios and perform thorough testing of changes or enhancements.
- Create and maintain clear functional documentation and training materials; train end users, including new employees.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot reports to meet business needs, following established methodologies.
- Assist process owners in assessing and standardizing processes for improvement.
- Continuously develop skills in industry best practices for test coverage and quality.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Participate in other projects or duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Bachelor's Degree in business or a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Six or more years of experience working with end users and process leaders to develop requirements for new and enhanced functionalities.
- Experience with end-user interactions within functional areas.
- Experience with SQL-based or other RDBMS reporting tools is preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar service desk software is a plus.
