Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Business Analyst II-D&T to study business functions, gather information, and help determine output enhancements for various applications.

The analyst will design business requirements, workflows and UI with IT and business units, identify problems, and recommend changes for development execution. Responsibilities include detailing tests, validating data, and coordinating with project teams to ensure alignment with business goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years in IT related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement and assist in developing solutions
• Participate in communications between various IT and business partners
• Participate in deployments, post deployment remediation efforts and support escalation as needed
• Participate in multiple projects and applications
• Assess risk and impact of builds and deployments
• Document requirements and communicate problems and enhancements for software applications
• Investigate and document complex as-is processes for design of new functions
• Define and document optimized solutions to complex issues
• Manage and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Design and execute test cases to ensure objectives are met
• Log and recreate error codes, enhancements, and defects
• Collaborate with leadership and developers to resolve discrepancies
