What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and define system requirements to support software products in the clinical genetics domain
- Oversee software enhancements through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Communicate technical and functional requirements with stakeholders and users
- Gather requirements from healthcare providers, IT teams, and third-party vendors
- Provide support to EMR/EHR clients with technical issues and troubleshooting as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
- Experience with EMR/EHR integration, particularly with systems like Epic
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
- Professional knowledge and experience using JIRA and Confluence
- Strong understanding of SDLC, AGILE, and SCRUM methodologies

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the healthcare or biotech industry
- Familiarity with HL7/FHIR standards and electronic health records (EHR) platforms
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and HITECH
- Experience with API and system integrations, including RESTful APIs and JSON/XML
- Proficiency in data mapping and ETL integration tools
