PositionSummary:

The Business Analyst, Sales Operations (BASO) will becommitted to providing analytical support to the Commercial Operations team. They will be responsible for determining key performance indicators (KPIs) for all ongoing and upcoming commercial operation initiatives. BASO will be responsible for working cross-functionally within clinical division to develop and monitor commercial facing KPIs that directly link to commercial enablement, client engagement, and revenue growth. Programs will include but are not limited to:

-Sales Performance Incentive Funds (SPIF)

-Guided Selling Models

-Partnership Success

-Sales Productivity Reporting

The BASO will be responsible for maintaining sales commissions and collaborating with the MSO for sales commissions administration. The BASO will be responsible for collaborating for the development of Dashboards and Reporting for our commercial team from our CRM, currently SFDC. The BASO will be responsible for data modeling for proposed and on-going commercial initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to help establish detailed requirements for commercial facing enhancements
  • Collaborate effectively with the Commercial Operations Team and other clinical departments
  • Develop a general understanding of our systems, architecture and business models
  • Participate in cross-functional teams or projects
  • Complete project goals within established timeline
  • Establish open and clear communication channels with various teams and departments at all levels within the organization
  • Objectively seek out areas of systematic improvement that foster sales excellence and enablement
  • Assist commercial operations team in the development of the next generation of analytics and tools, driving customer retention and revenue appreciation
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all ongoing commercial operations and commercial enablement initiatives
  • Provide KPI initiative progress report on as-needed basis
  • Collaborate in the development of ROI and Business Cases for new assays, products and commercial operation initiatives
  • Assist sales team and Senior Leadership in understanding operational process bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Commercial Operations, and IT teams to create next generational analytics, insight gleaning, and insight providing tools, driving revenue appreciation
  • Develop reports, dashboards and other analytical solutions using various reporting solution tools, and support others in their use of the tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Education:

Associates Degree preferred, with extra preference given to Bas/BSs or other advanced degree preferred

Experience:

  • Administrative responsibilities over CRM (Salesforce, or similar)
  • 2+ years’ experience in analyst role or similar function
  • Project Management Experience (preferred)
  • Support of teams using analytical reporting
  • Complex Data Modeling in Excel

Qualification Requirements:

  • Ability to develop and utilize cross-functional relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of complex goals and objectives
  • Detailed understanding of sales processes, data tracking, and sales analytics
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to analyze and QC data from multiple sources
  • Willingness to share and receive information and ideas from all levels of the organization in order to achieve the desired results
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a very high level of confidentiality
  • Advance level of knowledge and understanding of the dynamics involved with organizational growth, change and development
  • Prior use and administration of Salesforce.com
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal direction
  • Strong administrative skills and sophistication to manage business in complex environments
  • Exceptional MS Office skills, with emphasis in Excel data modeling

Travel Required:

Occasional travel may be required to our lab Sites in CA, FL, TN, and TX
