Job summary

Liberty Tax Service, within Technology Solutions, seeks a Business Analyst to lead the analysis and delivery of business solutions by gathering requirements, mapping processes, and assisting with implementation using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications, create artifacts, and participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment with PMO standards and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience with agile and waterfall project delivery.
• Proficient with Azure DevOps, MS Office, Visio and UX tools like Figma.
• Skilled in gathering and documenting requirements and user stories.
• Experience creating wireframes and process flows.
• Experience developing OCM materials (release notes, knowledgebase, training videos).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration across dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects by decomposing them into actionable requirements.
• Facilitate requirement discovery sessions and workshops with cross-functional teams.
• Create wireframes and process diagrams to visualize business processes and use cases.
• Communicate requirements to stakeholders and team members.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications with developers.
• Ensure objectives with traceability and test case scenarios for reviews.
• Support QA to complete testing, resolve defects, and aid UAT.
• Collaborate to deliver requirements from ideation to testing, demos and post-release support.
• Align BA artifacts with PMO standards and objectives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives.
• Identify risks and dependencies to the PMO.
