Overview
Job Overview: We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in Clinical Operations systems, specifically Veeva Vault, CTMS. This role will support system deployment and validation activities, working closely with business system owners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and adoption of solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in user story creation, workflow documentation, testing, and business process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams for Veeva Vault, CTMS initiatives.
- Drive requirement gathering and documentation, including creating clear, actionable User Stories and workflows in JIRA.
- Facilitate and lead workshops with vendors and business users to align on requirements, functionality, and deployment plans.
- Support system validation activities, including developing test cases, executing test scenarios, and driving user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure requirements and testing align with user experience and business needs.
- Manage the full testing cycle, from planning to execution, ensuring issues are tracked, resolved, and documented.
- Partner with system owners to identify opportunities for business process optimization and change management.
- Take ownership of assigned activities, drive timelines, and ensure deliverables move forward.
- Act as a "business user” advocate, challenging assumptions and raising questions to stakeholders to ensure effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting Clinical Operations or Life Sciences systems.
- Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Clinical strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of system validation practices, user acceptance testing, and test automation concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to write intelligent, detailed User Stories and requirements specifications.
- Experience leading workshops and collaborating with vendors during deployment.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools for requirements and test management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to drive discussions with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and move activities forward with minimal oversight.
