Job summary

BTI Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to deliver on-site operations support for Samsung’s Varicent incentive compensation system in Plano, TX. You will work with field users, IT, and the Varicent vendor to ensure timely issue resolution and accurate data processing.

You will manage data flows from Samsung’s DataHub, build and maintain Alteryx workflows, perform root-cause analysis, and document procedures to sustain system reliability during monthly incentive cycles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in system operations, data processing, or related fields.
• On-site work in Plano, TX with business users.
• Hands-on Varicent or similar incentive/commission management experience.
• Proficiency with Alteryx for data transformation and workflow automation.
• Strong communication with non-technical users and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Business Systems AnalystPosition SummaryThe Varicent Operations Support Specialist is responsible for delivering on-site operational support for Samsung’s incentive compensation management system, Varicent. This role works directly with business users at the field support location, ensuring timely issue resolution, accurate data processing, and effective communication across business teams, internal IT, and external technology partners. The specialist will manage data flows from Samsung’s internal DataHub platform, utilize Alteryx for data transformation, and collaborate with Varicent’s technical vendor (Argano) to support system enhancements, defect resolution, and overall operational stability.Responsibilities:Business & Field SupportProvide daily on-site support to business users, addressing inquiries and resolving Varicent-related operational issues.Serve as the primary communication channel between business stakeholders and IT teams.Collect, analyze, and document business requirements for system improvements or process changes.Support user communication, training, and guidance during monthly incentive cycles or system updates.Varicent System OperationsExecute operational tasks within Varicent, including data loads, calculation cycles, workflow monitoring, send workflow acknowledgements and validation activities.Understand Varicent model structures, calculation logic, and data flows to support troubleshooting and operational continuity.Identify system defects, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with Argano and internal technical teams.Conduct functional testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.Data Processing & AutomationProcess and validate data received from Samsung’s internal DataHub platform.Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows for data cleansing, transformation, and automation.Ensure data accuracy and completeness for Varicent ingestion and incentive calculation.Investigate data discrepancies and collaborate with data engineering teams to resolve upstream issues.Cross-Functional CollaborationAct as the primary liaison with Varicent’s technical partner, Argano, for issue resolution and system improvements.Work closely with internal IT, data engineering, and business operations teams to maintain system reliability.Create and maintain documentation for operational procedures, data flows, and troubleshooting guidelines.Required QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in system operations, data processing, business support, or related fields.Ability to work on-site in Plano, Texas alongside business users.Hands-on experience with Varicent or similar incentive/commission management systems.Proficiency with Alteryx Designer for data transformation and workflow automation.Understanding of enterprise data pipelines and platforms (DataHub or equivalent).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with non-technical business users.Ability to collaborate with external vendors and cross-functional teams.English proficiency for communication with global stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Varicent Modeler or Varicent Administration.Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Workday or other operational platforms.Knowledge of incentive compensation processes or sales performance management.Experience with ITIL-based operational processes.Strong documentation and process improvement skills.Work Environment & ConditionsOn-site role located in Plano, TX, working directly with business teams.Monthly incentive cycle may require flexible working hours during peak periods.Fast-paced environment requiring proactive communication and structured problem solving.The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who excels in a business-facing operational environment.
