Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings, Inc. in Harrisburg, PA, seeks a Business Analyst to support the technical development of functional solutions by working closely with business partners and the development team.

You will gather, interpret, and document requirements for design, coding, and testing of software implementations aligned with business initiatives. You will document processes, perform gap analyses, and ensure quality through SDLC-aligned activities, while delivering maintainable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or equivalent experience working as a Business Analyst.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a member of an Application Development team.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience writing SQL queries preferred.
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with business partners to implement, optimize, and enhance effective business solutions.

• Support development by providing solutions to problems through gap analysis
• Perform quality assurance and testing and review results with developers
• Contribute to the enhancement and documentation of software development techniques and standards

• Prepare and maintain technical change documentation supporting the development and implementation of new software and enhancements.
• Present completed software features to stakeholders as part of the development lifecycle to validate functionality and support final testing and acceptance.
• Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being delivered.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Position Overview:
